ITU transport & logistics, a family-owned company created by Mr. Albert Mapeshoane in the 1980s, takes its name from the Itumeleng bus service.

He began by operating cabs, followed by minibuses, semi-luxury coaches, then ITU Plant Rental, which produces concrete blocks and bricks and sells sand (rough and plastering sand) and crushed stone. Following that, Itumeleng coal yard sold coal ( wood, large nuts coal, small nuts, anthracite, piece, duff & coal dust)

We transport a variety of cargo, such as break bulk, containerized, hazardous, and abnormal loads. Food, agricultural chemicals, steel, fertilizer, maize, groceries, cotton, coal, lumber, and other goods among examples of products.

Transportation of ordinary freight between Lesotho and other African nations such as, SA, Botswana, Swaziland and Zimbabwe. We have flat decks, dropsides, tautliners, sidetippers, and lowbeds available for exports and imports (loose cargo, containerized cargo, etc.)

Several coaches that are available for hire/travel and tours (special outings & school outings) run daily routes from the lowlands to the highlands (mountains), carrying passengers, students, mine workers, etc.
